This original print is excellent with minor tears along the edge. 12X16" Thomas Nast drew for Harper's Weekly from 1862 to 1886, but it was his vitriolic attacks on Boss Tweed and Tammany Hall beginning in 1871 that sent him to the apex of his fame. This is the centerfold and shows Santa Claus, Soldier home on furlough, Chritmas Eve and Morning. There is a mended tear at the bottom on the left. Soil along edge in the margin. . Any shading shown is in the scan and not the print. Prints are fairly off-white.
