Two of the men are manning the sluice box while another is bringing a load gravel. Good detail of the aqueduct coming down the hill. Very nice. $25 Illustrated London News, 11-5-1898. "From Euston to Klondike-The Result of the Year's 'Wash-Up': A Sketch in the Bank of British North America, Dawson City" Scene of two prospectors at the bank watching the banker weigh the amount of gold they had accumulated over the year. You can see the gold on the scale. This is very nice. $25 Illustrated London News, 11-12-1898. "From Euston to Klondike: The Departure of the First Steamer With Gold From Dawson City, June 24, 1898" Nice detailed drawing, 12x16 in b/w of the Chss. H. Hamilton steamboat departing with a large group of people. There are hundreds of people waving good-bye and seeing them off. $25 Illustrated London News, 11-19-1898. "On the Way to Klondike" 12x16 print. 2 drawings on the print. One of Fort Simpson in British Columbia which shows the Fort and a lake setting. Has two illustrations done by Remington. One is of miners boating down the Yukon river and the other is of miners with their supplies crossing Lake Lindemann at the head of the Yukon river. Saturday Evening Post, 7-9-38. 4 page article, "Sailor on Horseback: The Klondike and his First Story" Has scattered photographs. $20 Scientific American 11-11-08. 12x16 b/w photograph of the docks at Skagway, the starting point of the White Pass and Yukon Railroad. There are two or three ships at the docks waiting to leave. $15 Harper's Weekly, 1898. 12x16 b/w drawing of Christmas in the Klondike. Scene shows holiday greetings between an "El Dorado King" and a "Dog-Puncher" on hte main street of Dawson. The two men both have dog sleds and their huskies. Print has nine different drawings of different views in Alaska and of hte coasts of the Behring Sea. The print has two drawings; one of Newicargut, Yukon River, in Alaska Territory, Late Russian America. The second of the breaking of the ice on the Yukon River.
