Harper's Weekly
December 23, 1876
This original print is excellent with minor tears along the edge. 12X16" Thomas Nast drew for Harper's Weekly from 1862 to 1886, but it was his vitriolic attacks on Boss Tweed and Tammany Hall beginning in 1871 that sent him to the apex of his fame. Grant decides not to run again. Now the New York Herald will have no sensational or scare headlines. This is the print only.
